UrbanDictionary é um site criado por Aaron Peckham em 1999 como uma paródia de dicionário e que é atualizado com definições e exemplos de usuários de todo mundo. Ele tem mais de 7 milhões de definições e é especialmente útil para encontrar o significado de gírias. Suas definições são muito irreverentes e algumas vezes lembram as do Devil’s Dictionary, do Ambrose Bierce. É a melhor fonte disponível para encontrar a definição daquelas gírias dificílimas e abreviações irritantes do discurso informal que você encontra nas falas do dia a dia das ruas e na internet, que você não encontrará em nenhum outro dicionário.

C'MON

1. c'mon 

The contracted form of the phrase "come on". Eliminating the space between the two words, the letter "e" and substituting the "o" in "come" with an apostrophe.

Generally used to encourage one to hurry up or follow in one's path.

1) "C'mon! what are you waiting for?"

2) "Here, c'mon, I know a place we could go for dinner"

2. c'mon 

A horrible way to try and convince someone to go along with something or do something.

-Want to go to the movies?

-No thanks.

-C'mon!

-Oh alright you've convinced me.
